what alvento means - (literally in the wind, the name of the magazine however is spelled all attached and lower case) is a term derived from cycle racing. He is alvento who stays in front of the group and catches the wind in his face, who works for his captain, who goes in a breakaway and has no one to relieve him. But he is also alvento who stays behind, detached from the group and struggles knowing that he will never make it back.

Alvento is a metaphor for life, because the same principles can be applied to what happens every day, at work, in the family, in sport and in personal and emotional relationships.

Our claim is alvento is a state of mind.

What alvento is about - cycling, of course. But it deals with cycling in a very special way. We often say that for us cycling is a pretext to talk about people and their stories. So it doesn't matter whether you use a road bike, a gravel bike or a mountain bike, or whether you are a professional, an amateur or a person who uses a bicycle to go to work. We look for the meaning of things, the deeper meaning behind all experiences.
