Starting out as a photographer, and a member of Camerawork, Matthews worked on Barry Lewis’s Coming and Going exhibition — Café Royal Books published a zine of that series, which is still available — then she was involved in setting up Format, a collective of women photographers, and after that joined Network Photographers. Jenny Matthews is now with Panos Photographers.
