It's Freezing in LA! To Stand On Shifting Groun
Introducing It’s Freezing in LA!’s next special edition: To Stand on Shifting Ground, built around a collection of poems about land, climate, colonialism, and complemented by fresh writing, imagery, infographics, and more. Showcasing IFLA!’s commitment to environmentally-informed design, To Stand on Shifting Ground will be composed in line with the Earth’s ever-shifting tectonic plates. The Indonesian ‘Ring of Fire’ will, for example, be represented by writing and poetry from celebrated wordsmith Khairani Barokka, while the African plate will be represented by renowned poet Ojo Taiye. We’re proud to be collaborating with students at Central Saint Martins on the collection’s curation, and with paper partners G . F Smith, both of whom contribute much to the unique feel of this special IFLA! offering.
